Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun. Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him

Psalm 37:4-7

Let us pray to our Lord  for our love life to be brought under the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Cross, as it enters the love life, will reveal the heart’s truth. Let the Cross of Christ be between us. More than our feelings, let us seek His will and wait upon the Lord. Let us lift our hearts to God and give our emotions to Him because if we merely rely on ourselves to keep our emotions, it will not last and even if it will, it will be stained with our own sinful nature. However, if we trust Him and give Him everything that we hold in our hearts, the LORD will make our hearts pure and our love will abide in Him - centered upon Him and sanctified by the power of His Spirit. Then, in His perfect season, we will receive with both hands  the love perfected and made holy by the Hand of our dear LORD.

World’s Most Beautiful Abandoned Places

Italian product manager and web designer Francesco Mugnai recently added a collection of images to his blog touting some of the most beautiful images of abandoned spots and modern ruins that he’d ever seen. The images Mugnai has captured come from empty castles, shuttered power plants, and dilapidated churches around the world. From a sunken yacht in Antarctica to a forever-closed amusement park in Japan, these images all make up a sort of anti-phoenix; rather than rising as new from the ashes, these husks remain preserved in decomposition, forcing viewers to confront the strange beauty of ruination.
